To The PS261 Community:

As some of you may have already heard, our Assistant Principal of 5 years, Lena Barbera, has been placed as Interim Acting Principal of PS20 in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, effective immediately.

If and when Ms. Barbera’s status at PS20 changes, the PS261 Assistant Principal vacancy left by Ms. Barbera will be posted, and candidates will begin the interview process.

Until that time, the PS261 staff will work together to assume the responsibilities of Ms. Barbera’s role as AP.

We wish Ms. Barbera great success in her new role, and we congratulate the staff and families of PS20.
