IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR PRE-KINDERGARTEN ("PRE-K") AT PS261,you must visit the
Pre-Kindergarten Admissions Page, NYC Department of Education website
http://www.nyc.gov/schools/prek
to fill out an on-line application.

If you are ZONED for PS261...

PS261 is currently registering ZONED Kindergarten Students ONLY
for the 2012-2013 school year.
If you are unsure of your zoned school, please
contact 311 or click the link below:

If you are ZONED for PS261, you may register your child for the 2012-2013
school year on any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, beginning January 17th, 2012, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. You will
need to provide proof of residence in the school zone - click the link below
for information on How To Register, and What To Bring:

Please Note: If you are ZONED for PS261, and you have already filled out and returned a GREEN, ONE-PAGE ENROLLMENT APPLICATION, you will still need to REGISTER your ZONED KINDERGARTENER by appearing at PS261 with your child and the appropriate documents.
